It's been a while...

...over a month in fact and I won't lie, I have no good reason for it.
I haven't been writing enough or shooting enough. I've been watching too much TV, listening to too much music, and feeling waay too sorry for myself. I have been 'thinking' a lot about the grad school plunge and I am starting the countdown to Fall 09. Unless something drastic happens to/for me in the next year, I am out of this city May 15, 2009, hopefully en route to Albuquerque or Tuscon and an MFA. And by 'drastic' I have no idea what I mean. Yesterday I didn't get a fellowship that would have been a drastic thing and nothing else is really on the horizon (the recipients all have their MFAs and one is on artnet.com. So much for emerging.)
This is not a pity post, though, just a way for me to get back into the blogging groove. It is like riding a bicycle-- when you hop on after a long break you suck at it for a while.

A question up for vote:
Should my prairielust quads be photogravures? I am leaning toward yes even though it would be a big ole pain in my arse. Thoughts?
