Contemporaneity is not doing it for me

So, I used to think that I was born 35 years too late for my sensibility. I missed the Stephen Shore, Ed Ruscha, Garry Winogrand, Helen Levitt roadtrip appreciation of and comment on what made America America through the everyday sights. Exhibit A:

I think I would have been good at it.


But now that I have spent 3 days with Timothy O'Sullivan and William H. Jackson, I wonder if I wasn't born 150 years too late... Exhibit B:
